I ordered my new 45e yesterday. Dealer says delivery will be in week 41. Don't now when the production week will be. Dealer is trying to get a earlier delivery date, so we will see :-)

It's going to be aan sapphire black one with 741m 21 inch wheels that will be painted black by the dealer. Next to that i have almost every option except:

• Bowers & Wilkins (i got the Harman Kardon)
• Skylounge
• Massage seats
• Rear Entertainment

Now the waiting starts. But after reading al the delays on cars ordered in Belgium and other countries, i'm expecting a delay to... but, we will see

Nice, congrats. It is a great car.

You got the night vision? You won't miss the options that you didn't include. I have them because they were part of a package. Skylounge is a gimmick to show your neighbors, the normaal moonroof is enough. Massage seats are nice but not 1K extra nice. I don't have B&W either happy with HK.

Delays may differ per country and dealer. Yours might have a free slot? Getting it earlier will be difficult I think.

You should ask your dealer, he knows if your car has a confirmed production week.
Delivery in week 41 means production around week 34 which I find rather quick unless your dealer had an open slot already booked at the factory.
For Belgian customers the wait time is around a year if your dealer has no free slots remaining in his quota if you order now.

No you don't need it indeed. I think this might be good to have when you drive a lot on dark forest roads with big animals crossing. But not in The Netherlands or Belgium.

Congrats - hope you can keep your date... in Belgium, I ordered mine back in December last year and I got a new delivery date in week 38. So you would be very lucky to still get your car this year and it would show you have a great dealer. Since they just launched the 45e in Asia and US, it will put some extra pressure on their backlog.

I wouldn't count on anything anymore, I ordered in December (not a single individual option) and this has been my journey

Ordered December
Confirmed W16
Spartanburg closed due to Corona
Confirmed W23
Confirmed W26 (changed in W21) remained until W25 Monday
Scheduled W42 (changed in W25 on Tuesday)
Scheduled W41 (changed in W25 on Wednesday)
Scheduled W33 (changed in W25 Thursday when the dealer reapplied for a slot) but never confirmed

Finally gave up on the build on Friday W25.

Hate to say this but your car is status 111, so it is not scheduled in the factory meaning those dates are an estimate.

Check my post above about my car, even status 112 (scheduled for production) means 0 certainty about production. They took mine out of the planning 1 day before it was going to start production, one day.

Contacted my dealer last week. Production is still scheduled for w34 and delivery w41. They told me it is a firm date.... so let's see in 4 weeks

Didn't get a update on the status though... so fingers crosser 🤞

Just contacted my dealer because my 45e should be build this week. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't pushed back.

And my new car is already on the boat! So delivery wil be week 41 (wheels have to painted black before delivery)

It means my car has been produced a week ahead of schedule!

i got the VIn from my dealer, but i can''t decode it to see if all the options on my car are correct. The websites i found to decode it all say they can't find that VIN....

Anyone a idea if it takes a few days after production before it shows on these websites?

My 45e was produced in week 30. The week after I was able to decode the VIN using mdecoder. Currently my car is on the ship at the port of Bremershaven Germany.
Did you try to track your VIN using the 2wglobal website to see it's loaded on the ship ?

No i thought that didn't work anymore with just the VIN....
When i go to mdecoder i can't decode it. It is only for dealers.... :-(

replace VIN at the end with yours...it works for me (see picture), so it should also work for you.
Mdecoder is a paid service now (costs you 5€ to decode 5 VINs)
