     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I am looking into what is new for the 2020 model Year here is what I found so far:

- New color Manhattan green

- SkyLounge led roof!!

- Driver Recorder option

- No M Sport 50i, Xline only.

- New options structure, similar to Audi's.

Will update as I find new updates

I just saw the Skylounge in an X7, reminded me of watching a Stars Wars movie, pretty dang cool looking!

Can you verify that Arctic Gray will not be offered on a 2020 model?

Nice work Jay. Both Sky lounge and recorder would be nice to have. So you are saying US availability on those confirmed>?

We know obvious stuff:
- New V8 in M50
- no x line in V8- ??? maybe for a little while longer

Need to confirm:

- New exterior colors
- New full leather options (hopefully more vs just white and blue like x7)
- Alcantara headliner

Things removed (need confirmation)
- Arctic gray
- Tartufo (wtf?)

Suspension options on 40i and M50i?

Specially:
- DHP on 40i?
- DHP on M50i?
- DHP without IAS any trim?
- Active roll stabilization as a stand-alone option?

Edit: Now when guides are posted I saw the suspension options remains exactly the same, with an over $80k starting price for an ARS equipped X5. That’s a bummer.

Pricing guides are out. And M50 is quite a car with nice options

But many colors are not acailable for it. No jet black No spahire black, no dark graphite, no manhattan green

Full leather is available in intersting colors. Cofee seems to be good but no tartufo,

Sky lounge and recorder are part of exec pack that now includes premium and parking and is. 4500

You can srill add air suspension to m50

It is of course pushing 100k nicely optioned

1. Does it make sense to wait for MY2020 or buy MY2019 X5 40i now? It seems to me that giving it 2-3 more months you are getting a whole 1 year ahead of the game in terms of future car value. Or am I missing something?
2. Any guess when MY 2020 will be available in Canada? Same as in US - order around July+, get the car around September+?

If it’s convenient to wait it makes some sense but the X5 is a brand new design so it’s not like a year is gonna put you any more or less in style.

Evidently the acoustic glass was a very popular option. It is now up to $600 for 2020.

Thinking they might be adding the rear windows too? I think for $300 you just got the front windows?

I'm pretty sure they have always done front and back for that option. I haven't looked at mine but others have posted that it was all four.

Another small change, Active Cruise Control is no longer shown as an available standalone option.

Personally really like that feature and not having to get the full driver assist package to get it.

Yes it makes a lot of sense unless you lease or plan to keep the car many years, think 10 or more. That extra model year is money in the bank when you trade-in or sell.

Value is one thing, but hopefully after the first year of production any lingering bugs will have been worked out. I have to admit that after reading all the software bug related threads I have delayed my purchase until the 2020 models are available.

Yes, bugs would be a second compelling reason I want to wait few more months for the 2020 model - less issues as production would be adjusted for the lessons learned from the first year. And as far as the future value - indeed, I'm normally buying my cars and trading 4-5 years down the road when they still keep ~ 40% of their value. So one extra model year is at least $10 k added to the appraisal. Thanks everyone for their thoughts.
