What's this stuff on my 809M wheels?

I just purchased an F96, and noticed some of the rims have what looks like silver paint drips and overspray. Anyone have any idea what this is and how to remove it?

Yes, looks like overspray of some sort. I’d use as all small amount of carnuba polish on a towel and give it a wipe down. Should come right off. You could also use goof off but I’d be a little worried if it might affect the clear coat on the wheel.

If it doesn't come off with cleaning g methods, it could be brake fluid damage to the clearcoat. It thats the case, not much you can do to other than try to polish out as much of the damaged clearcoat as possible and touch up with some similar color.

Car soap and clay bar didn't do a thing, but Simple Green and microfiber towel is getting it off pretty easily.
