BC Forged RS Series

Eh. Maybe I'm old skool. My eyes tend to veer towards the thicker spokes vs the thinner ones.

Figuring out the summer shoes.
I'm on BC's site right now.

Tanz Blue - Shadowline Package.
Probably going with Brushed Clear
Was considering Brushed Grey but in google pic images, it looks like Brushed Clear that's got BMW brake dust on it ;-)

Torn on the RS 40 and RS43 series

Personally I don't like brushed clear multi-spoke. I prefer it on 5 spoke or Y-spoke.

I have the RS43s but in brushed dark black on BSM.

I vote for RS40.

I see you're in Gotham. We're out on the east end but almost everywhere in the tri-state in general. OT, but how has the BCF held up for you.

Right ON BC main homepage, lotsa 2 piecers. Seems to be their line they like to show/push. I would never do a 2 piecer for the driving locals we live in. Been there, done that. With another popular brand, (3 letter brand), if I was lucky, if it was only 1 wheel got bent that year. Most years, I was doing 2 repairs a year. Between dismount, repair, remount, etc, I think I spent another 50% of what I had in the wheels just in repairs alone.

Held up very well, but then I haven't hit any massive potholes yet, just medium ones.

Funny enough, I have a 2-piece order from a new company about to be shipped out to me, but this will be for next summer season.

I was going to buy the RS43 or the RZ15 in dark brushed black. Personally I vote for RS43

Best way to get ideas of true color. Not google images. U tubed it.
Not finding the right spoke for brushed clear but still looking.
Trying to keep the wheels in a lighter color way.

Right now, leaning on RS40 in matte gunmetal.
I know I will like...but wanna switch up from dark wheels
I just want a slightly thicker spoke methinks

Haven't ordered any new shoes yet.

50% Leaning on a Square 818 Set.
The design looks great and works well the car.

I'm generally not a fan of the -masses- silver/black bi- color that appear on alot of cars, but the black and diamond cut finish of the 818 do work.

The weak point is the painted glossy black of this wheel will probably show up scratches faster, and based on recent pics of offerings/listings when I've been looking, the clear coat seems to be the weak point on these wheels as well .

it took 4 months to decide.....and from time of order, it was at my door in 3 weeks...

Not the greatest pic and 7 Y may be old but it's comfy to my eyes. Not too bling but enough to set apart from the bevy of G05 out there. Not a fan on the current multi directional aggressive spoke that is trending . Ended up Diamond Cut with Gunmetal Reliefs

Happy with your choice? I’m always torn about rims but going to stick with my stock 20s for ride comfort.

My original plan was to convert the stock to dedicated snow and actually order new 20"s.
But neighbor on the block got a LCI X7 with the 755 wheels. And it catches the eye so I went fashion over function...

Yes. I've ordered many wheels in standard finishes (powder, polish, etc) but this would be my 1st Diamond Cut/Colored Relief.

7 Wye may be a bit dated for some but it's perfect for me.

I'm not a huge fan of the diamond cut/black as the -masses- of all car makes have same/similar spoke color ways.

Just had rubber put on and installed . Just gotta wash off the mold release, and dress up the rubber before I snap a pic.
It looks terrible with the chalky tires

Snapped a quick pic for you PNW.
Still waiting for the mold release/tire goop to wear off before I give the tires a proper dressing.

I don't think anything will just short of coils. Haven't done a full read on what one loses with DHP, etc

What are your widths and offsets? Do you have a pic down the side of the car to show how they sit in relation to the fender?
