741M wheels All season tire options. need advice!

Hi all,
As I don't want another set of winter rims and tires, space wise and putting the wheels on and off before and after winter. So I was looking for all season tires for my 741m wheels but as you already know the tire choice for 21 inch is horrible...
I can only find scorpion Verde front 275 40 21 and rear 315 35 21. Will it work fine?

Also I read some other threads that porches cayenne tire set up 285 40 21 and 315 35 21 for x5. Front is slightly wider but would it work?

I need a solution! I don't like RF summer tires...
Some people say 275 40 21 all season square set up on 741m wheels? Please help! Thank you

I just struggled with this and gave up.

I bought two front 741m rims to put on the rear and now run a square setup of 275 40 21 michelin pilot sport as4's

beware... no spare tire

Same here.
Changing to Conti DWS on my staggered 20 inch rims in my 2016x5 was so much improved. Quiet, smooth etc.
Now I too have the 21s on my 2022 and not going to 20s.
Currently 6,500 miles on the runflats.
Got 30k miles before changing on the 2016.
What are you getting mileage wise out of the original runflats before replacing?

I gave up and bought a pair of 740m 20” take offs for the winter.

So now I have a set of wheels/tires for both the m3 and x5 for the winters. I store them in my basement. M3 wheels are much easier to carry up and down compared to the x5’s gigantic and 80 lb wheels lol.

I put the 275/40 R21 tires on the rear wider wheels and it went fine.

I went with the Vredestein quatrac pros that are severe snow service rated. As a bonus, this size has snow socks available.

Where did u buy the wheels? They are pretty pricey from online OEM parts stores.

Yea I am thinking of just getting All Season Verde.
Even with Porsche set up I don’t see great all season option unless I am missing something?
Thank you

Pirelli Verde has All season 275 40 21 and 315 35 21 what do you think about this one? Does load index matter? Front is 107v and rear is 111v tho

Yea I’ve seen those that’s basically the only option currently in that original tire size.
They have been mentioned on this forum in other threads. Seems like they are ok not great but I think it depends where you live. Like how much snow u dealing with.

I went with the Avid GTS35A on rear and the geolander on the front. Avid were 183 each at tirerack and the geolandar were 280 on amazon. Ride is great. Picked up a small jack, patch repair and compressor to carry even though I have roadside with BMW and Insurance..

I was ok with the 2 both being yokohama since I was able to have 4 tires installed for the price of one Pirelli scorpion winter but totally understand. Use tiresize.com to check your sizes when you start making changes. You want your front and rear revs to be within 1 percent with xdrive. I was quite surprised tire prices on amazon of all places were cheaper than most.

I would not go mixing tires. They provide different traction characteristics and would result in unbalanced and potentially dangerous handling.

Yes indeed.

I just found out that other folks actually up size their tire's sidewall by 5. New size 275 45 21 and 315 40 21since the difference is less than 1% seemed like it is working good. I probably will go with this option after more research
