BMW X5 XLINE - Does it look more aggressive?
First post here!
I recently bought a 2021 X5 xline (jet black) and decided to... - Chrome delete - Black out grille (double kidney) - Tint (70% front)/(20% sides) I am attaching before and after pictures for anyone who would like to make this transition as well. Last thing I need is... wheels (i think). Thoughts and advice on the below? Option 1: Powder coat my factory 19" Style 734 Wheels to Gloss Black. Will probably run me around $600 to powder coat locally. Option 2: Upgrade to 20" wheels and tires. If so, do I go gunmetal grey or gloss black? Will probably run me around $4k. Any pictures from the community with mods would be helpful! |

Yes it does! Personally I would powder coat to start. If you are in a cold weather area could serve as a winter set ip down the road. Can ways sell them on here if you decide to change the size.
And if you already have a 19, I would skip the 20 and go right to a 21 - the 1 inch upgrade isnt a huge difference on these, considering the msport comes with a 22 ! |

well done. search the forum for the thread where one guy shadowlined his xLine over a year ago.
clarifying what mikerx5 said, M Sport 40i doesn’t come with 22”. they come standard with 20” but you can option up to 22”. personally, I wouldn’t base wheel size solely on looks. consider road conditions, tire availability, etc. I actually downsized from 21” to 20” 21-22” come in staggered sizes so rotation is only side to side, not front to back. tire model and availability are also less plentiful than 19-20” offerings. most of the photos and threads you’ll see here are mods on M Sport variants, but since you asked: |

Larger wheels with spacers would make a huge difference.
