Definitely issue with CoC. Stop is due to an error with the CoC. The entry in field 21 of the CoC is missing. Dealers must obtain hard copy of corrected CoC and cannot release car until they prove to BMW they have received it. My dealer hoped to receive copy either Friday or today. Likely to release car today or Monday at the very latest. Guess what. Still no sign of it. So possibly Monday or Tuesday. Emphasis on the POSSIBLY. Beyond a joke

Just another update. Still no sign of paperwork at dealership. Would seem that the BMW logistics hub doesn’t deliver on a Monday! Presumably because of the weekend. So EARLIEST the correct paperwork will be received by dealership is Tuesday. Has anyone managed to pick up their new car yet?

Same boat as you frustratingly, still waiting for updated COC.

Lease on my current car runs out this week and dealer has given me a loaner whilst this all gets sorted.

Just a curriosity. When checking for active campaigns on BMW website, STOP025022 is still present or has it been lifted?
It is so frustrating for a piece of paper after months of waiting.

I believe hundreds of cars weee affected. Early august build. You will have to check your vin and see if the stop code and solution is there. BMW DEALERS will not release them without hard copy

Unfortunately my car is still on transit to the dealer.
But on BMW website STOP025022 was lifted. There is only technical improvement code 009...

I was wondering if your STOP was also lifted but CoC still not received.
My understanding is that if STOP is lifted, then the car can be delivered even if improvement is not resolved.

We have our car!! (Sorry to those that still don’t) COC was requested on Thursday when the ‘fix’ was announced, delivered to the dealer on Friday and we collected the car at 0930 this morning. No other codes, recalls or outstanding issues on ours. I can’t actually fault the dealers performance tbh…
Now it’s going to take a few days to get our heads around all the tech setup.

Dealers have been told that even though the stop has been lifted no car can be delivered until hard copy of corrected CoC has been received.

My 50e finally got released from the Southampton import centre and arrived at the dealer this afternoon, all paperwork now apparently in order.

I should be able to take delivery at the end of the week. Fingers crossed!
