X5 40i Msport Drilled Rotor Question

The more I research this the more confused I get so maybe someone has the answer..

I have a 2022 40i with the red Msport brakes (2NH version not m-performance). The part numbers for the stock rotors are the same for both the 40i and M50i. Size is also the same, 395x36 front and 370x24 rear.

I saw a post where someone confirmed the x3m rotors were a perfect fit on the M50i. So, it stands to reason the x3m rotors would also fit the 40i with Msport 2NH brakes… unless there was some difference in the hub or some weird offset or bolt spacing.

Can anyone confirm if x3m drilled rotors fit a 40i with the 2NH brakes? Diameter and thickness are the same.

Why would you want drilled rotors on an SUV.??
All they do is cool faster if your using it on a track.

Ahhhh, but they do look so good compared to the solid bland looking rotor. They also lighten up the rotor.

As I was reading the OP's post I was thinking the same thing. Based on his response to you, I'm glad you took the flak and not me.

Well maybe you had a reason for doing so but past that,
I'm not the fool who wants to buy drilled rotors to put on a 2.5 ton brick with a 6 cylinder motor thinking they have a performance vehicle

Someone has already retrofitted them, if memory serves me right, fronts are direct replacement and rears take a little work, but do fit.

Had them on my F10 M5 they squeal a lot.

Clearly you deserved his wrath with your "fool"ish response. How dare you ask a question or give an opinion. What do you think this is, a car forum or something? Your job is to read the post carefully and only respond exactly as the OP requests. He's only mad when you don't comply perfectly.

He'll get along fine around here!
