Saw a few people posted 10% and 11% in CO and other states.

I've been checking this thread and others, but don't seem to find anyone with 11% on near-east. CO would be too far, shipping would kill the deal, although can't we get factory orders shipped to different (nearby) dealer for pick up if I place order with CO dealer? Wonder if that's possible?

Nope, no dealer will agree to get delivery for the vehicle ordered by other dealer. It's not even an option. I checked that couple of times a few years back.

The only option is to try in 200 miles radius and order from there. It's 2hr trip max. This is what I have been doing for the last 5 years.

This is not correct, we have had members here get their X5 that way. I think the program is called courtesy delivery. I know AndroidRobot bought from a dealer in Maryland and picked it up at a dealer in Texas. I don't know how many dealers are open to that though.

A friend of mine in Orange County just did this. Any client advisor can sign you up. You do not need to be present. Name/Address/Email. Then you should receive an email with the OL code from BMW NA.

On the East Coast our OL code was $500 from BMW NA and $500 from the dealer. Not sure how the West Coast event incentive was setup.

You need to schedule a test drive with a dealer and the client advisor will send you a link where you can submit your information and BMW will email you the OL code. At least that is how I got mine last Friday...

I am the one who shared the 10% off deal in CO and did help a few other forum members get the same deal. When I was shopping around, I received a similar discount offer from an out-of-state dealer that is about 600 miles closer to NY than my local CO dealer. If you are open to buying out of state, 10% off is doable in my experience but requires some shopping around...

I have a '21 40i on order at 11% pre-incentive. Dealer is in NJ, I'm in NY.

Yeah, I'm aware of this courtesy delivery. How many dealers are open to doing this courtesy? First qns from them why you can't order from us?

1 in MM perhaps open to this for small fee.

Hello,
Trying to decide between a new 2021 X5 vs a used 2019+ X5. Used car market seems quite crappy, if people are getting around 10% off new orders, how are the used vehicles so expensive? Am I missing something?
Also, seems like BMWFS is offering a $3000 credit this month for financing with BMW. My understanding is that this applies additional after the MSRP discount.
I live in Maine so I need to look further out of my zip code since there is only limited competition around me.
Thanks!

That's not accurate at least IME, I've done a few of them across a few states and most dealers of any size are more/less willing to do it - the bigger problem is trusting your saleperson to ensure it gets handled because the dealers have to exchange paperwork.

I once worked with a well-known-to-this-forum salesguy who consistently dropped the ball on everything including courtesy delivery - unfortunately because it was an ED there was no turning back. Eventually the *receiving dealer* just worked the phones for a day until it was done. I ended up giving him a bottle of nice bourbon with a $100 bill even though he insisted he didn't want anything (basically the shitty salesguy behavior so pissed him off that he did it out of spite )

My 2 cents is, if your salesperson knows their stuff and is responsive and transparent, then go for it; if they're unresponsive slacker bullshit artists then pick a different one.

That's good if you were able to do. I talked to couple of west coast dealers back in 2014 when I made the deal with WWBMW in NY. None of the west coast dealers were ready to do. I even offered $500-$1000 for their time to accept delivery at their dealership. Said not going to do it. Ended up shipping coast to coast here are the pics.

Buy the 2020 model from the lot in Dec. Save yourself time and drama.

Is the residual for 10k mile lease 56% or 55% for September? I keep seeing both numbers thrown around on different forums and different dealerships using either 55% or 56%. What am I missing? Thanks

56%. The best source for lease and incentive information is the Edmunds forum.

True source of information should be your CA.

Takes 2 seconds to call him up. or the other way around, they should be calling/txting you to give you updates

Many don't have a CA while comparing and researching different models plus one wants to make sure they are getting base MF quotes so third party sources are often more accurate/available.

Nice deal. Exactly what I'm looking for. Glad to see that folks can get to 10% off MSRP (plus incentives), which is my target. Going to open up a dialogue with my CA early next month and see if he'll play ball. How much effort to get to 10%?
