You must have a mapping error because the only 2 options you should have are US[05] or Rest of World[03]
Do you have the most up to date psdz files?

Thanks for the info. I coded anti-dazzle on my M340i back when it was on version 7/2019.55 but lost it when the dealer updated me to 3/2020.69. I remember last time just removing 5AP and coding those ECUs but this time I made those extra 3 changes in KAFAS. Didn't get a chance to test yet but hopefully it's back to the way I had before or even better!

So I have looked at the usual places to download the latest Lite version (Almarreto) and the one I have is the latest Lite version
PSdZData_Lite_v4.21.32 Is the full version more up to date? Any suggestions on getting a later version? |

P.S. There is some indication that v4.25.12 is out a couple of days ago as well.

Has anyone gotten this to work with 7/2020.30?
I asked Steve to do the coding for me, and he followed the instructions on first post, but anti-dazzle does not work; it still only works as auto high beam. I have a G01 with anti-dazzle coded, so I know how it is supposed to work. |

Codes still work. Also code the following in 40F9 if you have issues:
C_FLA_CC_MESSAGE_3: CC_message_active to no_CC_message [00] C_FLA_US_SENSITIVITY_MODE: US to Normal [00]

Just an observation: I do notice quite a big difference between G01 and G05. Actually, I noticed the difference with their Auto High Beam, even before the coding. G01's Auto High Beam is much more active, it would turn on much more frequently than G05. Any speed above 40+ km/h, the auto high beam would be ON if there is no car in front. The same pattern follows after the anti-dazzle coding. G01's anti-dazzle high beam would turn on much more frequently and at lower speed than G05. |

These are the HBA settings including some of mine for a reference. No idea which ones will help with activation frequency, and after working with Trojanlaw on his HBA I'll be quite happy not to see another HBA setting again, but fill your boots. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vcn...ew?usp=sharing |

Given the NHTSA's October regulation change, I'm wondering if dealerships will recode anti-dazzle, especially for vehicles that leave the factory before, and aren't delivered before the regulation change.
I noticed the anti-dazzle decoding option on a build vehicle order ... be great if dealers enabled it for free after the change. |

Given the fact that most of them would not even do a requested iDrive software update unless you have a problem, and there is no sign that they would add functions like Assisted Driving View for older cars, I am very much doubtful that they would accommodate any request to re-enable anti-dazzle. I hope I am wrong though. If other manufacturers like Audi upgrade theirs, it may put pressure on BMW to the same. |

You will need the Esysx update coming out soon to properly map. Let me know if this works better for you all.

Reason I ask is mine rarely comes on when traveling on the interstate since most of the freeways in my area have updated to LED street lights over the freeway. However, when I travel highways without these new overhead street lights, it works great. Also, too large or too many street signs will typically turn it off. Lastly, are there other tweaks that can be made to VLD? Thanks in advance & sorry if this is covered elsewhere...I search for quite a while and couldn't find definitive answers.

If you check the cheat sheet I posted, this is the code that references signs, although I have not seen a big difference using it.
KAFAS4 40F9 C_FLA_Country_With_Multiple_Reflectors Inactive aktiv Mine works as well but does not turn on nearly as often as it does for our friends in Europe. I have spent a lot of time evaluating ECE settings vs. ours and other than Laendervarient issues, I cannot tell why ours are less sensitive. I have also found changing certain settings to ECE messes with US sign recognition and other related issues. The codes that deal with HBA and GFHBA sensitivity are the following contained in BDC_BODY3 1DF8: C_HBA_DIM_DELAY: default [0A] C_HBA_DIM_ENA: enable [01] C_HBA_DIM_MAX_DIFF: default [02] C_HBA_DYN_RESERVE_LOWER_MAX: default [FB] C_HBA_DYN_RESERVE_UPPER_MAX: default [0A] C_HBA_ENA_V_HI: standard [28] C_HBA_ENA_V_HYST: default [0A] C_HBA_FILT_BND_BOT_DEC: default [05] C_HBA_FILT_BND_BOT_INC: default [19] C_HBA_FILT_BND_HOR_DEC: default [05] C_HBA_FILT_BND_HOR_INC: default [19] C_HBA_FOG_ENA: default [01] C_HBA_GFHBA_ENA_V_HI: standard [3C] C_HBA_GFHBA_ENA_V_HYST: standard_10_km/h [0A] C_HBA_GFHB_HGWY_ENA: default [01] C_HBA_HOR_BND_F_INC: default [07] C_HBA_HOR_BND_OFF: standard_04_deg/s [28] C_HBA_HOR_OFF_VEL_HI: standard_11_deg/s [71] C_HBA_HOR_OFF_VEL_LO: vel_6_9_deg/s [47] C_HBA_HOR_OLAP_CODRV: 2Grad [15] C_HBA_HOR_OLAP_DRV: 2_grad [EB] C_HBA_PREV_REA_ONC: default [00] C_HBA_SWITCH_DEL_T: default [05] C_HBA_TAU_EX_HGWY_ENA: default [01] C_HBA_TAU_EX_HGWY_L: default [F6] C_HBA_TAU_EX_HGWY_R: default [0A] C_HBA_TAU_EX_L: default [D7] C_HBA_TAU_EX_R: default [29] C_HBA_THRES_CODRV_DEACT: standard [99] C_HBA_THRES_CODRV_INIT: default [00] C_HBA_THRES_CODRV_REACT: standard [E1] C_HBA_THRES_COR_TYP: default [00] C_HBA_THRES_DRV_DEACT: standard [28] C_HBA_THRES_DRV_INIT: default [00] C_HBA_THRES_DRV_REACT: standard [05] C_HBA_THRES_HGWY_CODRV_DEACT: default [B8] C_HBA_THRES_HGWY_CODRV_INIT: default [00] C_HBA_THRES_HGWY_CODRV_REACT: default [F6] C_HBA_THRES_HGWY_DRV_DEACT: default [28] C_HBA_THRES_HGWY_DRV_INIT: default [00] C_HBA_THRES_HGWY_DRV_REACT: default [0F] C_HBA_UC1_THRES_RES_CURV_HI: default [0A] C_HBA_UC1_THRES_RES_CURV_LO: default [04] C_HBA_VERT_OFF_VEL_HI: default [06] C_HBA_VERT_OFF_VEL_LO: default [00] I do not mean to discourage you from testing. Please do. Of course it is difficult because you can only test late at night in proper lighting circumstances. Also, there aren't a lot of options for the these settings. It will likely require you to discover alternative werte values that increase or decrease sensitivity. I hope this helps. Please keep us posted if you learn anything.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kd0...ew?usp=sharing You may be able to convert your lasers by changing all codes listed in 40F9. There may be other issues associated with that, however, so try at your own risk. I changed all codes previously by changing my country code and then VO coding all modules. That resulted in several errors, but the lights did function. Whether they were stronger or not I have no idea.
