I think there's an option to turn off the cloud processing of your voice commands, which of course would make it more limited, but would be faster.

We originally added a wake word because it kept activating any time it heard the "B" word, which actually happened a lot driving a "B" vehicle. The problem is you STILL have to keep "Hey BMW" to use voice activation, so no real benefit for us, except cuteness. Take a lesson from Amazon - when I change the wake word it no longer answers to "Alexa."

^ Yes, it wakes quite often by accident. I think there should be a check box for “Use BMW as a wake word”. This way the driver has a choice of using the standard with the personal.
