Generally speaking, H&R offers two different suspension drops for their lowering springs. I'd expect their Base spring to be a similar drop to The Eibach and their race spring to be closer to 1.5 -1.8 (both in which will be sportier handling then the Eibachs)

I'll reach to Ryan again next week and try and gather additional details.

Good news!

Just spoke with H&R again today, looks like (fingers crossed) we may be able to pre-order lowering springs for the G05 by end of the week!

I'll keep everybody updated as I acquire additional information.

Still waiting on those too. There was a slight production delay in Germany so the information is slowly trickling through.

For those that are curious, this is pretty easy work. You don't have to drop the carrier on the front to access the spring over strut. Two strut bars under the hood have to be removed. Unlike the F15, the rear of the G05 is spring over strut. You will need to drop the camber arm on the rear, so have paint to mark the camber bolt. That paint pen will also come in handy to mark the strut position on the lower pinch clamp. ACS has a DIY in German here...

https://preisliste.ac-schnitzer.de/a....pdf#view=FitW

Download the PDF, then open in in Google Docs. Once it is open, click translate and move it over to your language. You will lose the pics in the translation, so you can just print off twice.

I can get all torque specs per TIS, so we have them.

EDIT:

- Torque specs for front suspension:

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/g...nts/1VncvFVXN5

- Torque specs for rear suspension:

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/g...ear/1VndZzomtD

There could be a complication in the rear. It requires preloading the strut to insure non-binding using a special tool. All rear BMW I have done is coil in A arm, so I am not sure on this one. ACS notes nothing about preloading this bolt from suspension to camber arm and I have never preloaded a strut. I have axles, but never a strut. Any input?

Note, that many of the nuts and bolts are aluminum stretch bolts, so it is wise to replace them.

Typically H&R springs rides like crap but offers the most drop. Eibach's typically have less of a drop but has better ride quality.

Hey guys, I'm new here. I just wanted to confirm that these will fit the 2019 X5 without the air suspension?

G05 with steel will fit. I think Jack has a 2019 x5.

H&R just emailed me back. They are listing the drop as 1.4” on a 50i and 1” on an M50i. He clarified that the 50i is 0.4” higher from the factory than the M50i. So it looks like the drop is very similar to Eibach/ACS, but the glaring question is sportiness / ride quality. The drop is the same, so ride quality should be the #1 factor when choosing which spring is right for you.
