Yikes at the deep headlight body cutouts for the inset headlamp units - makes a great ledge for snow accumulation.

Front inlets remind me of X2 M35i.

Whew, makes feel immensely better about my F87 purchase. BMW has got a real issue with design these days.

Looks like the hood has some f80/f82 cues.. The rear bumper looks aggressive and on par with the g20 m sport, I'd expect the next gen m2 to bring back real exhaust tips.

If it grew by a few inches that would be fine, also keep a manual option and I'm interested.

How is it BMW managed to keep the G80/G82 under 'wraps' for the past 1-2 years . . . and the new 2-series is already leaked un-camouflaged while they are still taking F87 M2C orders and the M2CS seems another five years away from hitting the U.S. roadways???

Back end still looks awful high/tall just like the new M235i coupe, hope it looks better in the flesh and fingers crossed things will be much improved for the forthcoming M2 !

Cheers - Leo

Very weird design choice here to randomly cut/square off the lower intake, doesn't fit with the aggressive lines.

I agree it's not great viewing for a new F87 M2CS owner who has dropped £80k on a car

The timing could be better.

But remember this isn't the M2 that's 2022 away. This is the regular new 2er that is a 2021 release and due pretty soon TBF.

I just thought that because its a newer factory. Hopefully people won't try to use cancel culture on me

This is just the base 2-series, which does not look terrible.

BMW is going open a can of 'whip-ass' on it for the G87 M2/M2CS.

Will start with S58 engine and, no doubt, some proper ///M performance and aesthetics tweaks we are all after.

That weird ass triangle shape in the front is awful but we know for sure that this won't be on the M2 since Ms have their lower intake shaped upside-down (compared to regular BMWs). I think the base looks good for the M2, even though I find the rearlights quite ugly - but guess what? I found the rearlights of the F22 ugly as hell too when it first came out and now I love everything about the 2! Also the grille seems to be concave which looks cool
