X5 G05 30d 2019 battery question

Can anyone please explain how to replace the 2nd battery under the bonnet hood which is a 50ah battery? I know we need to register new battery uaing ISTA or bimmercode when we replace the battery in the rear boot. Do we need to register the front 2nd battery as well.

Also when we connect an external charger does it only charge the main battery or also charges the front 2nd battery?

Front 2nd battery used for what??

Just checked that my 30d b57 doesn't have a second battery.
