Has anyone here gone with Carbon Black over Coffee Marino Extended Leather? If so, what are your thoughts after living with the combo? Also, did you consider Tartufo?

My feeling is that the darker Coffee interior is not a great match for Carbon Black, but the significant other isn't to keen on the other option under consideration, Tartufo (which I prefer). The other color options are out so down to just these two!

Unless you plan to ppf & ceramic, or detail it every 3 days, it probably doesn't matter; it's black & brown which works or you hate this puppy

Ha! That's about right! After 4 consecutive black cars followed by 2 gray ones, I'm finally in position to get Carbon Black which I've been infatuated with for over 10 years. I may have to make a stand with Tartufo, however. She can have the message seats. Done deal!

Yup, that's a fantastic combo - this may have put me over the edge with Coffee.

One other quick Q: You went with optional wheels that are only available with performance RFTs and I noticed that you live in Canada. Are you planning on a winter setup or swapping to all season tires? I don't want to do that which is keeping me away from those awesome rims ...for now.

Yup, I purchased a winter setup with my X5. Not sure if you have seen the different wheel options in person, but the optional wheels (whether 21" or 22") make a big difference aesthetically. They make the X5 look more upscale. Just my opinion though 😊

Carbon Black + Tartufo is a great combination. I'd personally go with Black but if I wanted something more exciting Tatrtufo would be it.

It is the Black Sapphire EXT and Tartufo INT. I had exterior photos too showing the black 22" wheels but couldn't post them...because it rained today and the car is dirty

Definately. I have two girls so it works great for them for lots of things...and I hope it'll help save the back of the seat as well
