Keeping headlights on for 30 seconds after exiting X5
Is there a vehicle setting to keep the headlights on for ~30 seconds after exiting and locking the vehicle? I have tried making various setting changes in iDrive but none seem to affect this. I have the auto headlights button on if that makes a difference.

Thanks. I have that setting set to 30 seconds but I think I have to pull the high beams stalk to initiate it.

Just another point in the manual that could have a little bit extra explanation to make it clear what action you need to do - especially when other previous vehicles required the 'flash beam' action, not the 'activate full beam mode' action. |

Thank you! I would never have understood that from the manual. I wish this operated like it does in most other cars, which is automatically every time I shut off the engine and the headlights are on, but I can also understand that BMW engineers are thinking that you only need this functionality in a few situations so make it something that the driver must intentionally activate.
