Just coded mine for only the M logo and it worked. Make sure you select the MSP_LOGO

The M logo is always present in all driving modes. I'm usually on Adaptive.

I'm using the OBDLinkMX+ adapter and I put the car in Diagnostic Mode before I code it. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I will have a look in the Kombi NCD file if there is an option for it to be changed. If I was your brother i would be asking the dealer to look at it and fix it especially if you have it correctly configured in your 5 series

Thank you. He's going to take it in once he gets back in town. We we're just curious. The closest dealer is 60 miles one way so it's difficult making an appointment with work

Bimmercode now has the option "M Sport" that will just add the M logo to the default cluster without changing the whole layout and font.

on my MY21 45e, i wasn't able to change the eDrive logo to the M sport logo in the instrument cluster per above instructions with default cluster layout. my code line nomenclature is also slightly different than above. maybe an M-type layout or M font are required in the 45e to then add the M sport logo as others have done on their non-hybrid, but when i trialed the other layouts, the electric system-specific data fields disappeared, which i didn't like.

can someone post a screenshot? i don't recall seeing this, and i'm on latest version (4.0 11767 - 12.1.0). the "M Sport" option i saw involves changing the whole layout in the instrument cluster. the only way i've seen the ability to change to the M Sport logo alone is via expert mode (didn't work for me):

Been trying some of the dash layouts through BimmerCode and notice that on this thread people are taking about changing the logo under the driver awareness camera. Mine won't show the original X5///M50d logo even if I revert back to standard.

Any way of coding this with BimmerCode?

The app makes a backup before you code. did you code that backup? can also try selecting "unassigned" instead of "standard".

I didn't see "unassigned" but I'll go back and check. Thanks for the suggestion.

The backup was my next port of call. I'm not massively concerned. No doubt if/when the dealer codes/updates the car it will return.

I have the same problem with my 45e. I think the hybrid is a no go on change the edrive logo under the camera. M works as you say without any of the edrive gauges to the right.

I have tried several different things but nothing that only changes the edrive to M.

Does anyone succeed with the M on a 45e?

It came that way. Mostly all 2021 "40i" models come with a power gauge due to the fact it uses a 48v hybrid system. You can change it in the display settings to display a tachometer instead.

Did you try expert mode in Bimmercode? I was able to apply several different logos on my M50i.
