These are staring to get installed and I'm just wondering while we wait here in Australia does anyone have any sound clips of the non opf link pipe and slip on muffler kit.

I'm not impressed at all. Probably just going to make a custom one.

Few questions for those who have tried (listened to) both:

1. Is the m performance exhaust better? I know it is not out yet for the F95.
2. Will either system introduce more pops and crackles?
3. I see coding ECU is required for the AKP, is that also needed for the m-performance exhaust?

Based I for two videos posted on the Akra sight the slip on only isn’t worth it. Sound doesn’t seem all that different from stock. You need the full Evo system with the front section which sounds good but at 9K I’m not sure it’s worth it over the factory comp exhaust.

This is my thoughts as well. Just going to ditch the cats with my comp exhaust and should be good to go. I'm still blown away that they think their little axleback is worth $6k, they're out of their mind, but then again, f9x tax...

If you go for evolution pipe set or if you de-cat your car or remove opf, you lose your guarantee for your car (europe)

there seems to be two sound files floating around,

im assuming the one that has the crackles and snap are the tuned ones with the Evo piper and the boring sounding one like above is the rear pipes only

mine is only a few weeks away so time will tell when i hear it in the flesh

Next week I have the akrapovic installation.

I hope it will make difference. Only slipon because if i make evolution, no guarantee bmw confirmed

Mid section arrived today. Waiting on the slip-on. Will likely get started installing this on Saturday afternoon and finish Sunday.

All I have to say is the finish is like nothing I have ever see in an exhaust. This is my first Akrapovic. It is so light and beautiful I might feel bad about turning the car on after installation. I will send you a few pics when I get the slip-on tomorrow.

Shoutout to r33_RGSport for getting me hooked up in record time. I would probably be still waiting for Gthaus a year from now to get my exhaust
