What's your favorite and least favorite feature?

I gotta say, mine is the lock and fold mirrors when walking away.

Least favorite? The anemic heated steering wheel. Its like warm for 5 mines and lukewarm for 10 mins afterwards. The seats get super hot tho.

Bonus: I've never in my life been complimented on my paint. In the 2 months ive had this car, ive gotten like 10 compliments on the phytonic blue.

I like having to custom memory modes to swap from "I am sleepy, leave me alone" mode to "let's go ape sh*t" mode 😁

I have gotten lots of compliments on the paint color (marina bay Blue).

Lots and lots to choose from for the favorite...

Favorite: Merino leather multi-contour seats in Tartufo.

Least Favorite. Side steps that actually make it more difficult to get in and out of the SAV.

Favorite: Back-up Assistant

Least Favorite: I cant air-drum on the steering wheel anymore as I jam along to music because it often triggers the gesture controls

Least favorite - gesture control
Favorite - 3D surround view camera - no more curb rash. Especially nice for those expensive 22" rims.

My least favorite thing is that we no longer get the dials for temperature controls. I hate pushing on the button few times at a time to get to a certain temperature. It is simply annoying as hell. I wish we had a gesture control for it. Has anyone else felt the same about it?

Fave- drive assist pro. Makes the monotonous journeys simpler and safer

Worst-sky lounge. Twice the cost for half the functionality. I loved the huge pano roof on my F15. Almost like a convertible in summer. Sky lounge with its tiny roof opening and pointless lighting, that I never even notice, is a big step backwards for me.

I totally forgot about this until you mentioned it. This is actually my least favorite feature. I love the dials on my f15

Just say "Hey BMW" set temperature to 72°, and she will comply.

Agreed. But count your blessings that you still have a hard button for that instead of a touch screen. I'll bet everything will be touch screens in 5 years or less. Which totally sucks!!! Dumb designers and engineers forgot the reason why humans have the ability to identify objects through touch.

Let's blind fold the designers and engineers and tell them to find the HVAC controls and turn the heat up or down on a touch screen as well as operate other controls through the touch screen. I bet that would make a very comical YouTube Video.

Most favorite: remote engine start
Least favorite: steering intervention with lane departure (disabled since Day #2)

Honorable mentions: motorized lower tailgate, Merino leather, iDrive 7 speed/menus, Auto Hold, reduced mode for instrument panel

Dishonorable mentions: (lack of) headlamp washers, gesture control, early software glitches (10/2018 build)

Favourite - 3D cameras, given the size of UK country roads and car parks! The driving position is so far back, we'd never be able to see out of our driveway and pull out without it!

Least? Hmm. I've turned off many of them - gesture control, the touch sensitive top of the idrive wheel thing. Perhaps the eternal optimism of the navigation system for arrival times? On my trips to Cornwall, the estimate is usually at least 25% shorter than any other nav tool. I mean, I know the car is fast but it can't time travel. Hardly the end of the world (and oh to be able to be allowed to drive that far again!) just mildly irritating!

most: too many to name

least: air suspension rising from load level after opening then closing door (45e). others' behave differently where it rises upon driving off. usual scenario: when I park, I set it to load level. I get out and walk around to the passenger side to unload my belongings. upon closing passenger door, it rises from load level.
