Cigarette lighter plug issues

Just received my redline 360 escort radar and I noticed that the front cigarette lighter plug wasn't working. So I tried the rear like any normal individual and the rear did not work. I also tried to use the USB pass-through on the escort plug and that didn't work I also try to second cigarette lighter plug from another escort radar that was working didn't work there either.

The truck is scheduled for it's 1200 mile service tomorrow I guess I'll mention it to the dealer? Has anyone else had this issue on a new vehicle?

it's likely the plugs in your devices aren't fitting all the way in properly and making contact as the socket gets pretty narrow deeper in. it's a known design issue.

there is a SIB that proposes a DIY fix.

Agreed, I had the same issue. I overpaid for the BMW adapter:

Interesting as I had the same issue with my V1 that it blew the fuse. Service manager informed me of the SB, but I only had the fuse replaced. When I have the 1,200 M break in, as request the screw to be replaced. BTW, the laser notication was going off non stop when I took PCD, that I'm wondering if the gesture control sensor is triggering this?

Same thing happens to me and my v1. Needed to disable gesture.
