New CF Hood

Finally found one I liked, installing a decent amount of CF pieces so I think it will look nice, if not I will just wrap it

Wow....do those vents allow elements into the engine bay? I see you live in Jersey. Unless you don't use it daily. Cool nevertheless.

There is a tray underneath the hood that cycles the water out of the engine compartment. And yes I'm in NJ I rotate between this and the x4MC

Is this the CF hood from Manhart?

Can you post a pic of the tray underneath the vents? I've been on the fence about getting one due to that. It would be interesting to see underneath. Thanks!

Not Manhart, impossible to have them ship here apparently, RW Carbon, I will post soon as I have it in about 6 weeks

I contacted Manhart and they quoted me about $2.2k for shipping their CF hood to the US. Not sure if it'd be worth it, but can't wait to see the RW CF hood though!

Got it done but I’m getting it rewrapped so just the center bump and vents are exposed

Your flavor in color is unique and bold. I would say change is needed. You are possibly heading in the right direction. Would need more pictures with better lighting and angles to help further. The current photos on the hood make it appear basically like a standard flat hood with no functional vents. Which in turn makes the wrap look odd. Again, NO HATE.

I did a quick edit, I think I’m going to have them wrap the bump as well and just leave the 2 vents exposed
