Kiwi Greetings - New X5M Comp
Just dropping in to say hi. Took delivery of new 2023 X5M Competition couple of weeks ago. Already got about 1200km on it, no idea what that is is miles sorry
Absolutely love being in an SUV for the first time, came from an Audi RS-6 and actually have had about 25+ Audis including RS4, RS3, RS6, RS7 and now a complete change into the X5M Comp. Such an awesome vehicle, totally different to drive compared to my RS6 but love how you step into it not down into the RS6. Will I ever go back to a sedan or station wagon - Hell No. In an SUV for good now. Got all the toys on mine, pano roof, black on black with the light grey/black interior. Did look at the new LCi version but read lot of negative things about the big screen so opted to stick with the 2023 version. Cheers Ned |

Congrats Ned!
Your car looks awesome. All the black ones here have black interiors (pretty boring IMHO). Haven't seen one with Silverstone but very nice combo. I thought I wanted an RS6, so ironic you moved over to the Beemer. I need an SUV due to where I live so there was only one choice, really. I also I didn't want the LCI so put an order in last year for one of the last 2023 F95s. It's been waiting to get through customs and quarantine since the ship arrived in Melb April 13th! Hopefully only a week to go but who knows. |

Congrats on the new ride Ned! Enjoy it in good health.
P.S. I studied in AKL for 5 years - seeing your location brought back the memories!

Nice spec. I know i'm biased but I still firmly believe the X5M is the best car in the line up if you need room for a family. Even looks the best besides the M8 Comp honestly.

Alan - I dont have a family but carry all my camera gear with me most places I go and shooting helicopters out doing stuff I end up in some pretty rural places so the X5M Comp works well.
Its not the most fuel efficient for a daily driver but it is what it is and its a gem to drive. |
