They’ll probably have to make more revisions since it “almost” fits based on Bilal’s post. So probably a little longer of a wait for us f95/96 folks if they want to package it as an all in one.

Smart move on eventuri’s part tho. Even if that means they spread the additional R&D cost among everyone. Especially since the XM intake will probably have less sales than the F95 & 96 if they were to package separately.

Bilal advised the following:

"Design is complete. We are making the molds now. Should have the first parts to test soon. Aiming for July."

---I think this means that the system is what it is. However, I think after they are complete with the molds, they still have to run the final versions thru some testing to make sure the product's integrity holds up under duress. Of course, this is just a guess.

I am very interested in how it appears the intake takes in air from two locations. I am assuming this is how they are getting more induction noise. Considering they are physically bringing the secondary intake closer to the driver. Smart. However, I am of course interested in seeing how this translates to performance. Yes yes, I am totally aware that intake improvements do not substantially increase performance by themselves.

Just curious. Also, I am curious about the design of the carbon fiber engine shroud that will compliment the intake design. It will be cool to see the entire thing completed and of course the price that goes with it.
