2024 x5m first week in.
A lot of good and a lot of bad. First,
I absolutely love everything about it. The frozen pure grey looks much better than I thought it was going to. I am into the tech so this is a huge upgrade from my 2017 x5m and slight upgrade from my 2022 m3 comp x drive. Here are my current issues 1 week in with 400 miles. After 5 mins of driving check engine fault comes on and all 14 fault codes show. This last for about 2 miles. They disappear and come back 5 mins later. This is the constant back and forth through the whole drive. Second, if I leave back while the A/C seat is active I hear the seat pushing on the fan and sounds like a grinding noise. This triggered me to try the heated seat which does not seem like it is working. Service scheduled for sat A.M. Once this is all straightened out. I plan on lowering it and putting on spacers. Has anyone else done any research on a tune or exhaust modification. What plans do you have with the 24? |

I am planning on ordering a LCI 24 X5MC in Frozen Pure as well. What interior leather did you choose? Pics of both if you can. I reached out to my SA regarding cost of IND colors like Chalk...haven't heard back. If I go IND colors there is a longer wait I understand. Still on fence. Would love to see your colors ext and int.

I have gotten the “emergency call malfunction” message a few times since taking delivery last week. It then goes away on its own so not sure what that’s all about. I have installed the Acexxon black gloss rear deflectors as well as the gloss black rear wiper arm to match rest of gloss shadow line trim throughout vehicle. Both were from Ind-Distribution I had on my pre-lci and still fit the current. Also Tinted front windows to match back. Not sure about exhaust yet… |

I was going to ask if they fit the LCI but you provided the answer right there! Going to order those now. Had them on the F85 and for such a small detail, they did provide quite the difference.

Update….
Car has been in the shop for seven days with no idea on what’s going on. I was a week late, taking it in as that was the first available appointment. The dealer reached out to corporate and they are still awaiting a response. I took delivery on May 17th and have yet to be able to drive it beyond the first day. |

Usually when you have wierd sensor displays or any other display failures I would start with rebooting iDrive. Push and hold the volume control for 30 seconds. iDrive will reboot.
