OK. I'm a dumbass. I can't figure this out.
When I got my X5MC I turned off the volume indicator on the display. It bothered me that it popped up every time I changed the volume.
Now I want it back and I can't find it anywhere. Anyone?

It’s probably hand gesture control. Check gesture control in the manual. You can turn it off in idrive

I turned off Gesture control the first day, the on-screen volume is still there. But, I read somewhere that the on-screen volume can be turned off and on in the gesture settings. Look there.

I feel like I've looked everywhere but can't find it. It's probably something simple.
My wife and I listen to murder/ mystery audio books whenever we go anywhere. Sometimes the book won't start playing right away and sometimes it starts with the volume way down. I can't tell which it is and I sometimes crank the volume up, thinking it's down, and then the book starts up real loud. The volume indicator would help.

I don’t recall that being a setting in iDrive, but I do recall seeing something like that on BimmerCode > head unit module. did you code it? |
