Drivers seat not automatically moving

Just got my '21 45e back from the dealer after having a module replaced and being updated to 2024/03.25 and noticed the driver seat isn't automatically moving to my position when I get in the car. Fob is linked to my profile and the "Automatically move seat" option was checked in seat settings. The seat will move when I press the memory button. Any ideas?

Restart iDrive and see if that clears it up.

A related question: In my 2024 iX M60, the driver's seat can be programmed to retract upon engine shutoff or opening the door (along with the steering wheel to retract) and then to reset to the programmed position upon engine startup (or door closing). In our LCI 2024 X6, only the steering wheel retracts and returns under those conditions. The seat stays in place (unless we program the second button to help us get in and out). Am I missing a setting that would automatically retract the driver's seat upon engine shutdown/door opening?

you're not missing anything. that's a feature that's simply not in the LCI. many people want it (myself included), but it never made it to this platform

The seat on my 19 doesn’t retract, only the wheel retracts and moves up

Don't think it's in pre LCi either. My 2012 Nissan has it though

To anyone that really wants seat retraction when exiting the vehicle - it can be done, but requires an aftermarket unit.

I bought a kit that retrofits M1/M2 buttons on the steering wheel to cycle through drive modes (sport/comfort/eco etc). That kit has some added features, one of which comfort entry/exit; the driver's seat moves back when the door is opened.
