Doesn't look like it has been posted or confirmed - the base money factor is .00118 or 2.83%

Confirmed..

For those @ 10k miles, with the 1% drop in residual and lowered incentive rebates, the lowered MF percentage doesn't help at all. Monthly payments will be higher under the April program.

In my case it's actually identical and I'm doing a 10k lease. The difference in price is literally $1 less this month. So my guess is their rationale was the drop in rates needed to balance out and that's why they dropped residuals and incentives. They did ultimately screw up because the way it should have gone was drop rates, keep residuals the same and bump loyalty or lease credit by $750-$1000. No doubt that will come in a month or two.

Agreed. We picked up our X5 on March 10 and I just did the calculation using the April program and its EXACTLY the same. The drop in MF from 0.00142 to 0.00118 offsets the 1% residual drop (approx. $750 for our $74,920 MSRP car) and the $250 lease credit drop. That's a total of $1,000 loss towards the whole deal, which the MF drop takes care of. In some cases I can see it being different (e.g., if your MSRP is higher, the 1% residual drop will likely hurt the payment more), but even then the difference won't be that great - maybe a few dollars on the monthly payment.

Currently in the market for an X5 x40i, and I've asked around 6-7 dealerships in the NY/NYC area. At this time, it looks like they are able to offer aggressive discounts, perhaps because they aren't selling cars due to COVID-19? 2 dealers are able to offer around 10%, and I am currently trying to attain 11%. I'm also working with an autobroker. My goal is to land at 11.5% off!

10% off was fairly commonplace prior to COVID-19 so hitting your 11.5% off should be pretty doable. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

PS. Keep in mind dealer fees when looking at the discounts, you may be better off with a little lower discount and lower fees so don't forget to check out the NJ dealers also.

Thanks for the heads up. You're right - there are many ways a dealership can make money! $925 acquisition, $499 doc fee, and $321 estimated motor vehicle fee is what I was provided from a NJ dealer. The doc fee seems a bit high?

It depends on the area, in some places the doc fee is under $100 and others over $1,000. I'm sure people from the NYC/NJ area can chime in but thought it was lower than that in NY.

The loyalty credit is usually off on the BMW USA website compared to what it actually is, usually by about $500-1,000 depending on the Series/Model.

Got it. I'm seeing lease credit $1500, finance $3500 and loyalty $500 for X5's.

Yeah same here. For example, go look at the 3 Series on the BMW website. It says it has a Loyalty credit of only $1,000, but if you check the official pricing thread for the 3 Series on this forum, you'll see the Loyalty credit is actually $2,000. Same thing with the 5 Series.

Anyone noticed the new "loyalty lease offer" program for May? Looks like 2x $750 towards monthly payment for X5.

https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...nt-information

The lease offer details:
Quote:
LOYAL LEASE CUSTOMERS DISCLOSURE

Must take vehicle delivery by 6/1/2020. Offer is available for current or former BMW owners/lessees who lease select new 2019 & 2020 BMW models from an authorized, participating BMW dealer through BMW Financial Services. Former owners/lessees must provide valid proof of ownership or possession of the vehicle within the last 12 months. Offer is subject to BMW Financial Services Credit Requirements. Not all applicants will qualify.

Lease Payment credit in the amount of the scheduled monthly payment, up to a maximum of $500 (2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, X1, X2, X3, X4, i3, Z4), $750 (5 Series, X5, X6), or $1,250 (7 Series, 8 Series, i8, X7) per month for 2 months only valid with a new BMW Financial Services lease contract. Customer will receive a credit of up to $500 (2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, X1, X2, X3, X4, i3, Z4), $750 (5 Series, X5, X6), or $1,250 (7 Series, 8 Series, i8, X7) at time of signing, followed by a credit on their account of up to $500 (2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, X1, X2, X3, X4, i3, Z4), $750 (5 Series, X5, X6), or $1,250 (7 Series, 8 Series, i8, X7) for the next payment. Payment credit cannot be applied toward capitalized cost reduction or down payment through BMW Financial Services and is not a rebate.

Credits cannot be applied toward tax, title, registration, destination, handling, or other dealership fees. Options may be limited due to product availability at time of sale.

I literally just came on here to post that exact same thing! Looks like you basically get your first month's payment and the second month's payment paid for (up to $750). Unfortunately you can't use it towards your cap cost reduction. So if you're planning on doing zero drive off, for example, you would structure your deal as just your first month's payment as the drive off (capped at $750) and have that waived at signing. Your overall payment would go down though because the first month's payment would not longer be spread out over the remaining 35 payments (so approx. $21/month savings).

I read it a few times but couldn't figure out if it works for X5M. No M model was mentioned in fact.

They specifically excluded the X5M from the $2,500 APR credit, but doesn't say anything for the Lease payment offer. I would assume it applies (though it will likely be half of the payment since it's capped at $750).

The offer says customers must 'take delivery by June'... does that mean you must be in possession of the car by June? That's right around the corner... it wouldn't apply to those who placed recent orders then...?

Correct, you must sign the lease agreement by June 1st to get it. Recent orders wouldn't be able to get it unless the car arrives before then and you sign before then. So if anyone has the option to take delivery between now and June 1st, I would recommend doing it (though it's entirely possible BMW may offer this program again from June - July).

Boo! No way in hell the car is arriving before June 1... especially with COVID-19 delays!
