Nope, only solution is to go the the dealer and ask to flash version 03/2024.35. (not available for OTA)

Last week I made an appointment at the dealer for mid April to get the latest update. Then the 11/2023.73 OTA came and for a very brief moment I thought I could cancel that appointment... I'm glad I didn't cancel

Let 's hope 03/2024 is okay.

All seems to have worked correctly, no issues as far as I am aware. Not driven the car since update but opened it and confirmed the installation, locked car and checked app which had updated to the time I locked car.

I'm wondering if it is country related because I think the people who said they don't have connected drive anymore are Belgians.
Maybe problems in the Belgian backend?

I updated my 50e to the said OTA version few days ago.
Every went smoothly.
Today I noticed that Drive-Recorder and Ambiance Air App and settings are missing and are no where to be found.

Even when I use the search setting feature, it yields no results.

they really messed up something in this update lol

apps can disappear after an update. totally normal. Update apps and services as well as perform a telematics reboot to get them back. if they don’t come back, then can blame this specific OTA version

That doesn't work. It's a known issue with this release BMW says. Connected drive is broken en they are working on it.
The myBMW app also keeps showing the data as before the OTA update.

I don't think ambient air is an app. It's part of the climate control in idrive. I can see it but I still don't smell anything

We had to change our time this weekend, one hour ahead. I can’t even change the time in my car after this update. Function not available…
Normally the time changed automatically but not now and I can’t even do it manually. Even rebooted idrive a few times.

What a mess… again… !

Even my ambient air still doesn’t work. And the release notes says they fixed it. I had my car for hours on several days on full ventilation ambient air on level 3 and I don’t smell any fragrance and the level of the cartridge stays the same.

But I see the new stop sign feature. So I would think I updated to 11/2023.73.

According to the BMW Connected Drive helpdesk the ambient air is also not working due to a bug in this software update. It’s all related they say.

When I said I heard that people from the US/UK had no problems with the update he said the surrounding countries get updates from Munich. And that Munich has nothing to do with US updates. Maybe UK is also different.
So it looks like a local problem?

They expect a fix in the following days.

There must be a newbie that worked on this update. I’ve never seen so many issues with any other version. I can’t even get mine to install for over a month after downloading no matter what I do.
