Just got more info on this. Its just a smoke show, they had a $3000 delivery credit in August which they removed in September and dropped the rate by 1.5% instead, all in all it comes to be almost the same. I maxed out MSD and did protect and save to get a rate of 4.99 for 48 months and if i choose to go with September promo my rate would be 3.49 but no 3k delivery credit so all in all about the same. Will ask my CA to make a bill of sale showing a comparison of both will post a copy if they send me one.

My 8/13 build has shown 1 open recall for the brakes on the BMW site for the last two weeks. Today it shows 0. I refreshed multiple times and still 0. This might be a system error but curious what others see today.

NHTSA showing 0 here. I would not be surprised that if BMW communicated a Sep 19 SW date yesterday, they may be updating the recall info with remedy, etc and the systems will show Open again, shortly.

Mine still shows unfortunately but I’m on the Mini side. I have a feeling that all the high end BMWs will take priority

Once remedy is available we shouldn't wait long, parts take no longer than 24 hours to be delivered.

I"ll wait until my delivery is due and then reassess. Quite like the RR Sport 550e. The insurance is a killer though

My UK dealer never mentioned anything about compensation when he emailed me today, all he said was this....

Just heard back the difference in payment is $9/mo cheaper on the new interest rate. I chose to stick with the old deal as if i want to buy it out mid way or trade it in early the balance would be lower. All in all if anyone didnt buy in August they aren't really missing out on anything.

Another reminder for those of you considering jumping ship to another brand.......My week 32 build of 2023 arrived at the dealer with a stop sale with no known remedy at the time. It ended up delaying delivery by about a week (software fix). I had sold my 2020 Cayenne privately and was sick of driving a POS rental from Enterprise. I came very close to bailing on the M60i and buying a GV80 off the lot which woulda saved me about $20k. I'm so happy I came to my senses. The only suitable alternative to BMW would have been a Cayenne IMO.
Hopefully y'all will have your cars by the end of the month and this will be in the rear view mirror. I'm now at 15,000 trouble free miles. My M60i shows the recall on the NHSTA site but is clear on the BMW site (Austrian) which is confusing. Thankfully the vehicle has shown zero symptoms of having a brake problem.

Just checked and my original 8/12 build no longer shows any recalls on it. I see others getting the same results.

Was just informed from my dealer that BMW Canada has communicated that parts will be available for order in the next 2-3 weeks, and that all sold vehicles that have not been delivered will be prioritized. Dealer hoping there would be no slippage on this, but who knows??? This seems to line up with a lot of the other posts in the forum. Have they really cracked the code?

CA just texted me and stated that the software update "scheduled availablity" is September 19th. The parts fix "scheduled availability" is the last week in September/first week in October... My X5 is coming from San Antonio BMW. Good luck everyone!

Hmmmmmmm, I am being told that the parts will ship as software is available. And even maybe the September 20-21 delivery is probable (with ideal situations, I am sure). By now, who knows... If they say October, maybe we should start asking YEAH, BUT WHAT YEAR?

Same here. My 8/12 build previously showed a recall, and today it shows 0 on both sites. Very odd.

It did the same for me few weeks back. I called the CA, they checked, in their system it still had it. So, if in doubt, call / email your dealership to confirm

My vehicle x5 50e en route from NC to west coast used to show the brake related recall on BMW website but shows 0 recalls today
Not sure why , anybody knows?

Maybe while on a railroad the jerks and stops loosened up the tight torquing and “retorqued” the parts to meet specs? 😁

Is yours delivered to the dealer and now showing no recall or is it at port as well? Mine is stuck at port for last 4-5 days and today shows 0 recalls on BMW site. Maybe they fixed something on the port?
