G06 x40i lease quote, need a second pair of eyes please.

Folks, can you please assist? I just received a lease quote for a G06 x40i. I have never leased a vehicle before, so I just wanted a second pair of eyes to see if this is a good/reasonable deal. The numbers are just rough estimates. I could get 10% on the G05 with the same configuration, but of course, both G05 and G06 are aimed at a different customer base and the G05 has a lower base MSRP to begin with. The configuration is as follows:

G06 X6 xDrive40i 66,600
475 Black Sapphire Metallic 550
ZMP M Sport Package 4,500
1XN 21" M Y-Spoke Bi-Color Wheels, Style 741M 950
MCG7 Tacora Red 0
4KK Aluminum Tetragon 0
ZPX Executive Package 4,550
300 Space-Saver Spare 150
7M9 Extended Shadowline Trim 300
2NH M Sport Brakes 650
688 Harman Kardon 875
456 Multi Contour Seats 750
2VR 2 Axle Air Suspension 150
2VH Integral Active Steering 1,150
4A2 Acoustic Glass 600
4HB Heated Front Seats Armrests & Steering Wheel 250
Destination Charge 995

Total Before Discount 83,020

*Discount: close to 7% or $77,420 before rebates
*MF: .00142
*Residual: 57%
*36/10k
*NYC tax rate: 8.875%
*Monthly about [$998]
*Fees like acquisition, bank, and others before tax: [$1,022]. This will be upfront
*Tax: [$3,234]. This will be upfront as well, but I will consider spreading this figure through the monthly payments.
*Rebates: only $500 lease rebate. I'm still shopping around in NYC, NJ, and Long Island, NY because I know other dealers will do $750 conquest + $500 lease rebate. I will be a first time BMW driver. I'm a CCA member since summer 2019, and I'm eligible for the $1000 rebate.

Is this an acceptable deal? Do you think there are rooms to move the MF down and other components?

I'm trying to bring down the monthly payment downward. What options do you think I can consider removing? I'm thinking about removing executive package to premium, but I know I will need to give up the HUD, laser light and the pano-roof. What about IAH/Air suspension? Do you think the MSport M suspension is enough? What about the multi-contour seat? I can remove acoustic glass.

If buying, I would keep this configuration as is but I don't want to keep a G06 for more than 3 years due to family reasons. For lease, I'm willing to give up some options that are good to have but not necessary and rarely used.

Guys, just went to another dealer and spoke with someone in person. They are willing to do 10% off msrp on the same configuration for a G06. That will bring the mo payment to about $900. What do you think? MF and residual are the same.

Sounds like you got a better deal with the other dealer. 10% discount and based MF is what most members strive for X5s and X6s.

*Money factor: 0.142
*Residual: 57%
*NY State tax: 8.875%
*Fees (Acquisition/Bank/Others): $1,022 (pay upfront)
*Tax: $2,979 (pay upfront, but I have the option to spread the amount to the monthly payment.)

Woot congratulations and forward to your delivery photos!

I usually pay taxes and fees up front but you'll want to reduce your out of pocket as much as possible when leasing.

Auri and wtwo, thank you both! Can’t do this deal without everyone’s help.

The competition in NJ/NYC/Long Island seems to be pretty tough. As long as one dealer is willing to do 10% or explore the 10% discount area, a few others (especially the bigger ones) will follow. From the discussions with multiple dealers, I could infer that many of them go toe-to-toe. This dealer in Long Island (which I got my deal completed) kept on telling me that they're making no money and taking a big loss on a 10% discount MSRP. I do believe him, but this manager spoke with his GM and still figured out a way to get the deal done.
