Bimmercode

So, I finally coded my G05 tonight.
I've been sitting on the ODB/bluetooth adapter for months.
I was quite disappointed with the available features to modify.
Most of the stuff I wanted, which is generally what most people want, was not available.

I've used e-sys with a laptop many times, but it's a been a few years.

Anyone have any suggestions on alternative options for coding with more features available to modify?

There's a new update to BimmerCode coming soon (which is in beta right now) that supports the Body Domain Controller module which will give you access to a lot more coding options.

Which G05 ECU's can you configure in expert mode using bimmercode?

How does it handle increments in i-step version? The issues with esysx/Launcher is keeping every ECU cafd mapped for every model and updated with every i-step version.

The key ECU's are BDC, HU_MGU, SASx - if bimmercode provides unlimited untrimmed access to these ECU's and provides updates for each new i-step release you could have a near perfect product there.

Well, looks like Bimmercode has been updated.

Just tested version 2.17.3-6357, and the Body Domain Controller ECU is now accessible and can be coded, including "Expert mode".

Anyone know how to add Sports+ mode in Expert mode?

I believe:

ECU BDC_BODY3/00007083 parameter FesPiaDefaultLastUserMode to 02

Now that I have access to the Body Domain Controller, I had to code TWO rows under 3221 PfFesMaster:
- FesPiaDefaultSportWorldMode: Changed to 0x02 (SportExpert) - from 0x01 (NotSportExpert)
- FesSportWorldMode1: changed to 0x02 (SportExpert)

Never tested myself yet.

Also, will program myself ( gotta find all in expert code with Bimmercode.):
