Can a 2020 G05 with HK audio use FLAC files running off the USB in car? It works great with my large MP3 collection but there is a pricey box set that is available to me in FLAC only file. I know the BW will maximize the lossless FLAC but my question is will my HK audio even play the files in the car?

Absolutely - the majority my USB music is FLAC converted from CDs. To caveat, I have the B&W system, but playback should be the same.

Yes flac works on the HK system for me through USB or internal HD

Ripped directly from CD (dBpoweramp). Other files are mp3 downloads which didn't need (or benefit from) conversion.
