x5 45e 21inch wheels perali p zero trips to the snow

hey team
been in the market for a x4 45e for 4 months. been hard to get one with driver asset. m sport and trailer hitch. they are selling while on transits to the dealers.

found one but it has the 21s with the perali p zero's. we go to tahoe about 2 times a year and Shasta the same.

Will this not be able to be driven in the snow at all?

Pirelli P Zero tires are summer tires. There are a few posts on here about these tires and folks swapping them out for winter tires for during the cold season. I am one of them who acquired winter tires...

I do get the summer winter swap thing in a place it snows. but

I live in a part of California. that has 300 plus days of sun a year and dose not snow at all and the only snow we see is the 2 to 4 times a year we drive to a ski mount about 4 hrs away. maybe only one of the trips we drive there is any snow at all. as we plan the trips to drive a few days after it has snowed, and the road are cleared. all the roads to the mounts are big highways that are plowed salted ect ect .

I feel like its would not make sense to swap winter tires on just to just drive on sunny winter or rainy California days.

aren't summer tires better in the rain then winter and obesity the dry.

Pirellis are good dry/wet weather tires...the issue is temperatures...A quote from Pirelli website: "Pirelli's warranty does not cover tires that develop compound cracking due to use in ambient temperatures below 45° Fahrenheit (7° Celsius), so the P Zero, like all summer tires, is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice."
