I purchased OBDLink CX to connect using bimmerlink. The connection stops at 22% with an error message ECU not responding. Has anyone been able to successfully connect on the 2024 X5?

Perhaps something changed but I thought Bimmerlink could connect to the LCI vehicles but very few options would work. Maybe now the ability to connect has been removed. Shoot bimmerlink and email, they are usually quick to respond.

If you could update us that would be great.

Yes, email them and tell them your issue and they will email back with an app called Testflight. This allows you to use their beta Bimmerlink app and it works on my LCI. Not all functions are available yet but they say they will be added in time. I've gotten 3 updates so far and in fact I got one this morning, version 4.6 (10721).

I emailed the Bimmerlink folks asking if it works with the 2024 and they said it was not compatible with the 2024 x5.

This was their response:
Dear Customer,

X5 LCI is not supported unfortunately.

I've also reached out to them and got the same response. No offers for the beta app to test unfortunately.
