I understand the latest update has broken functions in the app. Does anyone have a documented list with possible work around? I know the auto start stop doesn’t work in comfort mode so I use sport individual. I can get my fog lights to come on after setting the on with DRL to active. What else is broken and will Bimmercode ever be able to fix these? Is there an alternative to Bimmercode that does work? I am not sure if it’s just my model 2019 X5 50i M sport.

all my coding works (18 items or so) after upgrading to v11/2023.50 and BimmerCode v4.3.

I’ve not read of any other “broken” codes other than ASS, but i thought that was only with 03/2023.xx (?and 07/2023.xx). i don’t really pay particular attention to the ASS coding issue since I’ve never felt the need to code it out.

you can always send feedback to BimmerCode for any bugs that pop up and ask them to share any other bugs they’re aware of

I did and they responded with the ASS workaround. I just sent one about the fog and DRL issue. They told me on the ASS that it may never be fixed due to the I drive update. Any recommendations on alternative coding apps?

It is not a Bimmercode issue, no coding tools can disable ASS in 03/2023 and beyond since BMW made a change.

I couldn't get rear seats automatic seat heating to work. The selection is on iDrive but I couldn’t activate it or change the temperature. Front seats works fine. Activated both 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. Worked fine until car did OTA update to 2023/11. I have alerted BimmerCode and received an acknowledgement on Feb 12. Haven't tried again to see if it has been fixed.

I'm not sure. I have the app installed, but don't have an OBD2 connector yet. When I open the app I have the options of Connect, Demo Mode, and Buy full version.

there’s only one paid version, not divided into “basic” or “full” versions. the demo version doesn’t actually code; it just lets you go through the motions

Yeah, I know what Demo means. You would just think that they wouldn't have it phrased as "Connect", Demo or buy full version. Kind of alludes to the fact that you can do some things without buying the Full version. Demo Mode, and Buy App..... Thats it

I tried before updating to 11/2023.50, and afterwards and it still would not work for me.
