As a musician- I'll admit, once you're in, were over paid, especially with our signing bonuses. (I'm aware I'm at the higher wage of scales however)

And I'd rather take my money than have people's respect. A lot of my friends parents laugh when they hear I'm a "musician" until current assets and investments are discussed

See, I want to make millions doing just that. It's very lucrative. I already have a couple investment properties, but nothing and I mean nothing that would pay me anything near what Harris Teeter or Subway would pay you.

Yea - couple of my aunts/uncles are real A-Holes around the Christmas/Thanksgiving table with a few extra cups of eggnog or wine...

I have this one Uncle (and his 3rd wife) who always show up in a 'new to him' POS car. He' really proud of these marvels (Caddy's, Buick's, etc...).

The first year I show up in the 335...he's all in my grill with what does it cost, the reliability of these cars are terrible, over priced, people that drive these are douche bags...the he starts making snide comments to my parents - how much did I go into debt for that car....did they 'co-sign' for the car?!?!

Couple years later (after I had made a couple R/E purchases) - he starts in on me again. In front of the whole family, I comment "If you want to know how much I make, or how much debt I have, or anything else about my finances - Ask me now or shut the hell up". Not a peep from his drunk ass...then or ever again
