You have some time before you pick it ups so you may want to read the owner's manual at least once to get an idea of the options, settings, break-in etc. You may be able to use your vin but if not just get one from a dealer's site.

Annapolis said they had multiple trucks in yesterday (22 total vehicles). They are on the small side for dealerships in the area so they work to get them out as quick as possible. My sales guy saw it on the truck and called me to see if I wanted to pick it up and it worked out time wise.

We had trouble getting it to add to my online account properly because it was still showing in-transit while I was sitting in it.

I had a similar issue. When mine got to the dealership, I was told that the navigation wouldn't load, also the stereo and apple car play wasn't working, but they were working on it. Approximately 24 hours later, they had everything working and ready to pick up. But, I know that feeling....it's gut wrenching!!!

OMG, right? Thanks for sharing. "What did they have to do to make it work?
I hope they don't have to remove the screen. I don't want any rattles since it won't be as "tight" as the factory-installed one.

I don't think so, I believe it was just software issues...but I really don't know for sure. I was just told that their "engineer is working on it". I was also told that all the vehicles that were delivered on the truck to this dealership that day had the same issues. Not sure what happened in QC!!?? Obviously not much

Yours could be different obviously but the ones with the loading problem needed an iDrive update/reinstall to fix them.

They told me they have to order "the entire display unit" from Germany, and it will take up to 10 days. I don't even know if I want this car. This journey has not been a smooth sailing. Understandable you feel that way but I think after you get over the initial disappointment all will be fine. It sucks to have to wait an extra 10 days but that would certainly be quicker than waiting for a new build. There will be no long lasting problems from getting the screen changed out, it is a pretty simple process.

Try to hang in there, once you finally get behind the wheel all of this will be forgotten.
