Unfortunately no. The rear bumper needs to be removed for proper installation.

Is this grill from IND? Having a tough time deciding if I should wrap outer trim and spray inner grille or just purchase from IND.

Did you also get your inner slats painted (those parts in between the slats that came with the grille) in black too? The inner slats are original in matt/chrome colour. Thanks

Can someone help me with the exhaust tips? I considered making them black but noticed on my MW M Sport, the trim across the middle of the bumper is grey, not black as I had thought. I think the black exhaust might not look right against the MW and grey.

Ya the configurator on the site shows the middle part is the rear bumper to be body colored for the other colours.

How are you going to black them out? Are you buying the IND ones or painting them yourself?

I think if you black them out, they'll just blend in with part that's surrounding it which is black. Only the middle is grey in your case, or white as it shows on the site. So the bottom corners of the rear would be black.
Or you could consider wrapping the middle part black, but I think it'll be OK without wrapping. But you can black the tips first then decide if it needs wrapping.

I think deleting the rear and side orange markers with body colored inserts from IND would also make it the whole car look a lot better

looks really good. I've also talked to a dealer to do the same (still don't have my car yet though). They were charging about 250 euro to paint front grille and the exhaust tips. I am a bit concerned with the front grille and picking up stone chips when painted vs the "performance black grille" which is plastic, but it seems the performance cannot fit cars with night vision so I don't have a choice. I will not paint though the front bumper inserts, the mirror caps and the side ornament for the air vent (they're in that grey-ish color for m50d) as I'm worried the dealers might screw something up when taking them out (except the mirror caps). Maybe it'll just break a bit the monotony of all black and not look like they stick out. Will see, can't wait to get the car...still almost a month to wait. the wheels (V-spoke 747M 22") painted black as well..
By the way, BMW ( their own dealership) did not agree to touch anything on the car...but it always helped me to just use one of their private dealerships to make such changes. Same story happened to my previous AMG...no changes allowed on the design. Whatever the customer does, it's done outside the BMW/AMG official shop :-)

Pardon the dirt on my car but it seems to be the only grey on the exterior of the car? Why not make it black? My local shop thought it might look weird with black tips, grey surround, white bumper and black hitch assembly.

IND sells the BMW OEM Shadowline exhaust surrounds which fix that issue

I'd love to see a black one with alpine white painted in the grill, I think that would look pretty sick .

Anyone have a pic of the outer trim blacked out on the grill and inner part chrome? Thinking about just wrapping the outer grill in a gloss back and leaving the inner part chrome.
