I just bought a CPO 2021 X5 M Sport with the 22" 742M wheels. All of them appear to be perfect condition as I believe the dealer went through them before passing the car as CPO. They also put brand new OEM tires on the rear (Continental 315/30-22) and measured the fronts at 4mm (5/32) across the entire tread so did not warrant replacing.

I'm looking to trade them for a set of 741M's in excellent condition (no bends or cracks obviously, hopefully minimal wear/scratches). Tires don't need to be in as good condition as we can even out the deal with cash on top.

Would need to be in Los Angeles or Socal area as I wouldn't want to cross ship them, a meetup and swap would be ideal.

Let me know if there's anyone out there looking to trade up to 22's!

*Would consider selling outright but not until I find a set of 741's to purchase first.

I have 741M's on Pirelli Zero RFT. I am interested, but would like to see what color your 742M's are. Also, why are you looking to trade?

They are the original color- silver and black. I just prefer the look of the 741's. I'll PM you and will send pics

Oh wow, thanks for calling him out! That’s lame scammers are trying to piggy back my thread.

As for selling them, I’m really not sure as I figured trading would be easier and haven’t looked at pricing. I just realized it seems the 741’s came with run flats? I don’t want to run those so I’m now not sure how a trade would work unless someone has swapped to regular tires. Will need to do some more research.

Yes, the 741 oem tires are run-flat. Some swap to non runflat and get a spare. Since your car came with 742s, you probably already have a spare. I might be wrong…

You are correct, already have a spare. Part of the reason I want to stay with non runflat, but also I just prefer them. I've read its tough to find good tires in those sizes though

I think it’s tough to asses without having driven on anything else, but they are non run-flat so that should be a bit softer than run-flats. Perhaps someone else that has driven both sizes can chime in?

Are you currently on run flats or non?

Yeah my 21” 741’s are on RFT’s.
