Glad to see you folks are getting VINs and more importantly getting closers. Am I correct in assuming that the folks for Week 16 are all either 40i or M60i with none being a 50e? I think the earliest we have seen was week 18 for a 50e so just looking for data. Thanks.

To my knowledge everyone in here is an m60i or 40i I haven’t heard anyone with a 50e order!

Thanks. We have many folks with 50e on order. Since production has been limited those with unfulfilled orders have been moved to MY25. Most seem to be scheduled for the middle of May.

How do you figure out the build week? I've been in the "production queue" (and now "production begins") stage for a couple of weeks (including having a VIN).

You can get your build week from your CA or by calling Genius. Since you are in Production Begins then you can use the "F12" process to get your assembly date.

No VIN yet, still at status 112.

I did notice, though, that the car's image in My Garage changed from a generic 40i (albeit in the right color) to one that's equipment-correct. Hopefully that's an indication that a status change is imminent.

(Didn’t add DAP because I rarely do highway driving in high traffic areas)

It looks like bmw is about a week ahead of schedule right now, most week 14s started production already and my original week 16 build now has a scheduled assembly date of 4/11 which is week 15! So assuming everything stays like this you will most likely be getting yours assembled a week ahead too.

It looks like most of the people who went into production this past week are flying through the steps, some already passed quality check and are just awaiting carrier assignment! Once the QC and everything is all good to go it seems like transport can take a week from what I’ve heard.

I’ve believe the NY/NJ area gets them via truck from SC. Some folks said only 2 days in transport to NJ! Maybe I’m too eager but I’m hoping to get mine by the end of April! Any other members in here with experience can chime in maybe, does that seem like a reasonable timeline?

As long as the stars align you could very well see it at the dealer by end of April first of May. Things seam to be getting off to a good start for the 25 model year. I would assume that since shutting down 24 production it gives them time to stock up on parts etc for the next cycle.
