Looking at a 2024 M 50e with 21K miles on it for $72K, dealer will only discount $500.

What kind of discount can I realistically expect? The car is more/less loaded. I suspect it retailed for around $85K

Due to the limited production the market for 50e's is really tight. If you like it and want it, you may just have to go for it at that price. Although of course I would try to get a few grand off which they likely won't do but doesn't hurt to try.

Request a copy of the original build sheet and you'll know the MSRP. Also look very hard at it's service history. Search this forum for reams of data/info relative to 50e issues if you haven't already done so. Is it CPO?

I just pulled the trigger on a 50e Courtesy car with 6K miles. Got it for $69K. I'll let you know how we like the car.

The dealers are being tough on price. For $72K I might just bite the bullet and get a new one. There are plenty out there, especially in Black or White.

Agree. I wouldn’t pay $70kish for a 50e with 21k miles right now. We are getting ready to order a 25 40i x drive for my wife in the next couple of months to replace her 18 with only 36,xxx miles. Aiming for 6-7% off will be around $78k on our spec. In a couple years that 50e is going to be hit by big depreciation so don’t overpay now.

I paid 79k for one back in December, June built- it was a dealer corporate car. It had 2700 miles on it - the check engine light came on at 1200 miles and the high voltage parts were replaced - according to service record.

I had them sell me the car as new, so I got the 2.99APR. The sticker price was 89.7k - all possible options that you can on a 50e. It was ordered and the person backed out, so they used for a while.

Car has a little over 5k miles now and no issues. I am hoping that it stays that way.
