I can report the same on My Garage; I still see EBT and Wireless Charging.

Also, my CA inquired about the B&W option and was told no for my 45e on order.

It seems some of these changes are build slot specific then... in the end I'm losing HUD and HK but I'm retaining EBT/wireless charging and have been able to spec B&W.

I only placed my order three weeks ago and nothing seemed missing, certainly not anything being discussed on the thread. Being as they're mostly all made in the US I wonder if they're giving what they have to the markets they can charge far higher prices to.
Packs are labelled differently here but I added
MSport +, Comfort +, Tech +, Sunroof, Towbar and a few other bits
HK Audio was part of this and though I didn't add Acoustic Glass it was available to me

Just placed an order for a X5 yesterday in UK and HK not available and air suspension now replaced with coils. Expected del date Oct 30 - order now pending discussion with dealership rep on Monday

Ouch, I would personally cancel on that - air suspension with the added weight is a must. Oh sorry presumed you want the 45e

Plus having had mediocre sound for 7 years in my Touareg I promised myself I'd go up a notch this time around. B&W being just too expensive that is

Traded in the wife's x6 m50i for a x7 m50i. We needed more room with another child due in September.

We were going to order a 40i m sport originally but we ran into the HK issue and we couldn't add executive pkg to the build.

We ended up switching to m50i because HK is standard. The weird thing is it doesn't show the HK option on the vehicle tracker. So that has me worried if it'll get delivered with HK or base audio.

Custom order for xDriver45e placed on March 16, 2021 and picked up the car on May 6, 2021. HK was included from the beginning. Salesman said he has no allocations until Fall and had to call 3 customers who placed order for 45e that he cannot fulfill.

Wow. similar situation for me. Placed a 45e order end of March for a May allocation. Vehicle had all options included and is now in "quality check" status as of today. Looks like everything is still there from the original build sheet. Dealer should get it this week and I'll verify the window sticker has all the goodies

Plus you get a Garage Door Opener which isn't even available in Europe, or at least my Dealer said it wasn't available any longer and hadn't been for years

Just mentioned on another thread how the tow hitch costs $1400 even if you have MSport with the already uprated brakes...... $530 or so in the US?

M multifunctional seats, 22" wheels for 45e variant are a couple, though i'm not sure if the following are affected by COVID supply issues: acoustic glass, soft-close doors, thermoelectric cup holders

The M seats mean you don't get seat back power, I have 3 sons - forget that !

I believe from this and other threads that the 3 items you mention are indeed Covid constrained

Same here! Ordered my 45e at the end of March, now "Awaiting Carrier Assignment". Dealer should have it this week. Everything I ordered, including HK and M-Sport still show on the build, so I think we are good.

Ugh, makes me fearful of my order

Out of curiosity being as those items are part of likely option packs, how did they price it ? Isn't the charging pad a standard item or is it optional ?

Yes the charging bad is standard I believe. So far nothing has been amended on the order.. I should find out later. I have told them that I won't accept a downgrade from the HK

I got told the wireless charging was disappearing as well, but that my build slot meant I should still get it. We'll see.

Similar to you, was told my only options were to accept the car with the base HiFi or upgrade to B&W. It was suggested to me that it will likely be MY22 before HK returns given the extent of the shortages.

I wonder if any UK member could advise me of when I should have access to be able to see the status of my car. I received one email with a bar of events across the top but no link to BMW to see the progress itself. I ordered on the 23rd of April and told First week August for delivery

How did you learn of the delay?

The more I hear these stories, the more I think I should skip my order (which already had HK chucked out the window) and just find something in inventory, even if it's not the perfect fit.

I heard from other members the HK option is gone completely or if the car comes standard with HK you'll still get it and also a chance the car might be built to base radio even if HK is standard. Not sure what to believe since no one has a clear answer.

I have an x7 m50i on order but the HK is missing from my stand options list. Beginning to worry….I don't think I'll take delivery of the car shows up with base radio.
