I dipped my toes into coding tonight with ProTool. I was successfull with some individual items like window auto up/down that simple stuff.

I went into the VO coding section and made two selections to enable 5AR (extended traffic jam assist). I don't know if it worked yet but that's not my question.

After the VO coding and the ECU reboot, the vehicle on the combimeter and head unit is now black instead of white!

Yes I could revert to a backup, but I want to pursue the ETJA thing.

Anyone know how to change vehicle exterior colors in iDrive / combimeter?

FYI to close the loop on this thread, I successfully changed the displayed vehicle color.

This was the parameter:

3000 HMI_SPEECH
VEHICLE_COLOUR
