Installed M track module in my X5M50i

M track module installation was done after lots of hiccups couple of days ago and finally the remote coding was done in my X5M50i last night ,
Didnt got enough time to play with it but i'll update my experience later with it.

No not the oil temp just add additional info like boost psi, tire pressure to the stock info already comes in X5M50i cluster , i don't know or remember if X5M shows engine and coolant temp separately,
Also no ACC or DA info on cluster or on HUD when sports mode is activated may be X5M owners can shed some light on this topic if that happens in X5M too.

Seems your M-Track Module isn't coded properly , RPM is fully red on side

May be possible, When the car is turned off RPM's are grey but after it turns on and as you rev it start turning red to grey from bottom. I'll try to double check with some X5M owner lol.
But anyhow thanks for pointing out

It support BDC3 module cars so thats why this module works with ACC pro package, I ordered it from a vendor in china . ACC works fine and driver's assistance view only works in comfort mode but not in sports mode . I'm still testing it because i was reading thread's here on forums where some people complaints about having some electrical issues and draining battery in there 3 series so I'll test it for some time and see if its not causing any issues like that, also the color coding of wiring was not right at all so took 2 , 3 attempts to finally connect it with BDC module because getting technical support from vendor is not easy there's time zone difference, language barrier and vendor passes the questions to manufacturer and i didn't want to keep experimenting with bdc wiring because its a very serious module of the car.
It was a little frustrating experience.
I will update my findings and if any issue it causes to the car.

Coding information that changes the RPM color of the instrument cluster.

Applies to two themes: M Instrument Cluster and M Track View.

[DKOMBI4] Instrument Cluster → 3001 KI_Parameter → DZM_VARIANTE

01 : Diesel b57 engine
02 : Gasolin except b58 engine
03 : Gasolin b58 engine
04 : Gasolin s58 M (Over 7,000rpm is yellow)
05 : Gasolin s63t4 M (Over 6,700rpm is yellow)

Fixed the cluster coding.
Changed 2 settings:
CTR_DISP_M_SYS_TIMEOUT: nicht_aktiv
HMI_VORWARNFELD_KOMBI_ENABLE: nicht_aktiv
Both were set to aktiv and changed to nicht_aktiv

Under normal day to day operation, the temperature should be very similar. I can think of two situations coolant will be very different than oil temp. During cold start, coolant will rise up your mid point very quickly, in the matter I’d 2-3 min. Oil will take a lot longer, maybe 15-20. During hard track driving, coolant will remain at about 21xF, but oil can go up to 250F.

Maybe maybe a look at both at cold start should tell the story.

Hello,
I received the module to test. Fair price, quick delivery. Have a question before start the installation, the manual is not very exhaustive... where is located the plug in image #2? In the glove fuse box? Thanks.

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

I found the connector. Initially, I didn't understand.

I have a 2020 G05 Diesel 30D fully equipped. When I opened the connector, I don't have the same slots with the same colors. For example, I don't have a cable in 32, but I have a brown cable in 25. For cable 7, I don't have the same color, mine is orange-blue. On the other hand, my 1 is red-yellow.

I guess, according to the instruction manual, I have to change cable 32 for 25, cable 7 for cable 1. Correct? Cables 35 and 36 seem to be the same. For 36, yellow-white. For 35, yellow-black.

Hey, I have exactly the same set up as you.
Colors are different and no cable In ‘32’ is missing.
Have you tried to connect it switching it as you mentioned above ?
