Hello,

Title says it all.
I often get the error “Charging interrupted. If this ofte occurs check the charger.” On the BMW app. And then it restarts and we’re off for a perfect charge.
I thought this was a bug in the app.

However yesterday I noticed that the app of the charger also detects this hickup. It says “charging … waiting for car … charging”

It looks like it’s some kind of a “hand shake” issue. I will try to set the phase mode from auto to “fixed mono phase”. And report back.

Anyone had this behavior before? Previously had a BMW i3 and never saw this.

I feel like I’ve seen this at a public charger somewhere before, but I can’t remember where/what brand of EVSE.

I had a lot of fun with the X5 and the Wallbox Pulsar Plus… I had to disconnect power to the Wallbox after every charge or it wouldn’t charge again.

What EVSE is this?

It’s an Easee. A swedish brand if I am not mistaking

Try rebooting the wall charger.
