Hiya all,

A few weeks ago I ordered a BMW X5 45E but I am still doubting the interior combination.

I got the Leather Merino Coffee seats in combination with Fineline Stripe braun.
But I am not sure if I would prefer the inlines to be Pappel Maser anthrazit-braun.
Personally I am not a big fan of the glossy wood therefore I am still thinking of changing it.

I am afraid that glossy won't be so nice when the sun/light hits it.
But then again I am afraid that the colors of the Pappel Maser anthrazit-braun won't fit the colors of the seats.
So I hope you guys can help me out deciding which I should pick.

Would be greatly appreciated if you all want to share some of the pictures of your interior combination.
That makes it easier to decide because the photo's/renders online aren't the best to decide from.

I looked at many many YouTube reviews to get a better idea of what interiors looked like in sun, shade, etc.

Coffee and Fineline is a very rich combination. Dark, but not too dark. I almost went that way with Alpine White exterior.

Instead, I went with Arctic Gray over Merino Ivory and Fineline. Although I was up between Ivory/Alum Tetragon and Ivory/Poplar.

My wife has the poplar with Tartufo. Very nice combo. I didn't want another poplar in the family.

Ivory/Alum is kind of mono-tone. I wanted more contrast.

This review is good to watch if you're considering Coffee/Fineline:

We have an Alpine White / Coffee Merino Extended / Fineline gloss on order. My wife loved the matte choice in the X3, as it was "linear", but did not like the pattern or the color on the matte wood option in the X5.

Color choice is highly subjective, but while she preferred a matte finish, she just could not do the grayish brown in the X5 with Coffee.

I went with a 2020 model with full coffee, phytonic blue and piano black accented by the glass controls. Hot!!!!

Looks very interesting although the coffee color looks a little lighter than I can remember

I have artic grey, black merino and high gloss fineline stripe. Happy with my choice. I had piano black and ivory white on my previous car and it had a lot of finger prints which is less obvious on fineline. Was also a great combination.

The sun on the high gloss doesn't cause any problems for me.

I have Coffee with fineline. it is a bit darker than how it appears in the video. A better name would be Coffee with cream.

I have coffee and fineline. I would go with matte anthracite if I could do it over again. I think the fineline goes well with black leather but not as well with coffee.

The people that posted their interior combination maybe happen to have any pictures/video's of it ?

Also still looking for some video's of the matte wood for comparison to the earlier video posted.
So if you know any video having one of these interiors please let know

Fineline gloss is really nice. Does not show that many prints and it is not over the top wood trim. Wood trim is not my favorite, but I do like fineline.

There really isn't any bad combo. It's all about your style and personal taste.

We ordered coffee extended merino with fine line. I think it looks great. I would have preferred a matte wood but didn't want grey. I had anthracite in my previous 5 series but I like the fineline now that we have it. It's not too overpowering like some of the older burl woods used before.

Agreed. My wife picked out fine wood ash grain trim with high gloss silver and, while far from my first choice, I have to admit it looks great.
