No car caring , climate rules, experience mode after update
Had vehicle updated to 7/2019.53 last week. Still no updated apps. Genius said to update in car using option button and reset I drive. Did all and still nothing. Any ideas? Also, park mobile never connects from car. Open to suggestions.

I lost CC and other apps before updating to .53. No idea why, or what happened, but I'm still without them. 😢

I have the same situation. Did the update apps thing and nothing. Talked to the genius at the local dealership and he said they have to be mapped to the vehicle and would require a visit to service department. So who know what it takes to get these additional apps. I have an appt for next Tuesday. I let you know if that works. My expectations a low at this point.

Hopefully they will be able to get ConnectedDrive to send them to your X5 and all will be well. Then again, all communications went out in mine, for the second time, about a month ago and it has been at the dealers for over two weeks and BMW/ConnectedDrive/AT&T can't get things working.

Dealer said something was wrong with the hu/h. I assuming that’s the head unit. Had to erase all phones and reprogram the car. I will pick up in the morning.

As long as all of your other communications (BMW Assist call, enhanced voice recognition, Update Apps and Services, etc.) work it probably is just how ConnectedDrive works in regards to pushing out those apps.

Same issue here, never showed up and it has been 10 days now so guess I am calling Genius/taking it back in - mostly did the update to fix a couple issue and get the climate rules.

On a serious note I noticed the same this week - normally it returns "no update available" within about 10 seconds but it is now on day 2 of "searching...". I finally got around to calling Genius, they said take it back to the dealer and have them fix it that they should show up immediately with the update and the update was not installed correctly.

I picked mine up from 114 Peabody on Thurs and all apps were there after the update... maybe they learned from you?

Mine was updated to .55 software today to fix the missing stuff, caring car, experience modes, climate rules etc.

same issue with mine, dealer updated the version to 0.53 (last Thursday) and it is missing the apps, scheduled another appointment for next week..
looks like folks with 0.55 version did get the apps correctly.. btw.. i see another post that 0.59 version is out as well am thinking to get this version if this is the latest one...
