X6 Top door panel in leather

Is there an option to get leather top door panels on X6? Does one have to go with X7 and choose the Full Merino Leather?

Choosing full merino will give the entire door (well except switchgear of course) leather covering. It is nice and gives the vehicle a true luxury touch.

There's no "full merino" leather option on X5/X6. The leather option you can select will leave the doors and dash still Sensafin. BMW actually has a clarification on it so people don't complain afterwards why everything is not leather.

"When Leather upholstery is selected, Leather will be on all seating surfaces; other components may be Leather or Leatherette."

So if you order the S4M5A Individual leather-covered dashboard…you don’t get leather along the top section of the doors?

Yes, choosing 4M5 should get you leather on the window sills/top of the doors unless that changed for the LCI.

Great thanks! So I guess the only plastic left would be the bottom of the door. I can leave with that.. Thanks a lot all!

Verify with someone who has the LCI just to make sure it didn't change.
