It is just absurd looking. I mean attention grabbing, but still absurd. I feel it might be cool on an i8 or something slim, but this big car its odd

Props to an interesting artistic display. Ya'll are getting so triggered over a pretty neat thing.
With that being said, the X6 is inherently ugly. Should've done it on and M coupe/sedan, i8, or X5.

You're all ruthless! This is so bizarre and cool. It looks like a poorly rendered car in a video game!

Crazy cool, but not the first.
George Barris and company had the original 1966 Batmobile painted in what he told me was a matte "Bat Fur" Black paint. But it was changed to glossy black because it look better on television especially with the new technology at the time called Techno-color. |

It's not your style. It's an EXTREMELY polarizing model. It's a Swiss Army knife of cars. Part truck, part sedan and part Coupe. It has a utilitarian factor to it. A niche car that started a wildfire. It's the reason we have: X4 GLC/GLE F-Pace Velar Urus Q8 Levante It created a new car segment and arguably the reinvigoration of the SUV surge in the USA. Curious on what your favorite car is? Drivers of an X6 are bold and daring. Drive to be different. Something positive should be said for that. |

Perfect camo for prototypes.
Much better at hiding surface detail than the usual swirl-pattern wrap. Oh, and as for the car itself, IDGAF. Whatever.

I feel old for even saying this — but this thing shouldn't even be on the road. It's just not safe. The depth perception will throw off other drivers. It's distracting lol

True. Didn't The ZDX came after the X6? Can't leave out the grandfather. Pontiac Aztek[/QUOTE] Pontiac Aztek was essentially a modified FWD Chevy Venture, etc GM Minivan. It's "better" looking sibling the Buick Rendezvous was essentially the same thing underneath but with a better interior and less polarizing exterior. Pretty much those were the first "crossovers" and they were nothing but glorified minivans with none of the practicality or space efficiency of the vehicles they were based from. I am no fan of the X6 but comparing to a Pontiac Aztek from 2001 is simply ridiculous and shortsighted. The 1999 Aztek concept was actually decent looking but sadly bean counters and the predominantly bad management of GM at the time ended up producing the Quasimodo of minivans:

I think your missing the forest from the trees with this.
I am not talking Performance or luxury. Simple the basis and platform of the type/style of car that was created. We can all surmise the Aztek's body provides inspiration for BMW to build from and add its brand to it. They took the baton and went further. The same as Lamborghini took and extended more. Now it's up to BMW to reclaim the thrown. Personally BMW will always have because they are the ORIGINATORS. Just like what MB is to the CLS/GT 4-Door. |
