SA just said he will call me once it's ready, but he has no idea when that will happen. I guess it depends, hopefully, they can get it fixed ASAP.

At this point it will be interesting for those with PCD over the next 2 weeks if they will have a STOP.

So, my dealer ordered 2 extra 50e's (They made 1 mistake) and the one replacing my 50e.. both clear a no stop sales or recalls con the Austrian website.

The blue one on mine also just dropped off and I only have the yellow one. So does this mean anything different? We still can't pick up the vehicle until this is addressed, right? Or can we pick it up, but with a defective airbag?

"If vehicles have any other open Campaigns, they must be completed prior to delivery to the customer." I don't think we can pick it up until it's fixed, probably to avoid potential legal issues.

From the wording it looks like you can pick up the vehicle and it will be addressed at another time when the recall is done. In other words, you can delivery the vehicle with a recall as long as it doesn't have another stop sale.

FYI, my SA just told me I can pick up my X5 any time (while the yellow message still exists), I'm targeting this Sat.

FWIW, the recalled airbag was replaced earlier today.

I am a week 30 build and now just have the yellow message after having both for a week. What would cause the stopsale message to disappear. I am still waiting for my car to arrive at the dealership. My fingers are crossed that it willget there ina few days

Welcome to the forum. They are constantly updating the vehicles effected by a stop sale based on testing data and assembly records. They start with a wide net and then keep whittling things down.

Depending on what stop sale you had, you could be affected by the stop sale turning into a recall.

I have x5 built 8/7 that is waiting for that air bag part at the dealer since last week. Who knows how long it will take. Could be days or weeks. Who knows. It’s super frustrating.

Mine was built on 08/08 and was waiting at the dealership for one week before they got the replacement part, BMW of San Francisco.

My new 50e arrived at the dealership today but they are holding it for what I think is the air bag issue. Quite the bummer as I no longer see the stop sale when I look up the VIN. The SA confirmed earlier that there wasn't a stop sale. He did mention that it was the air bag issue tho. Oh well.
